Lauren O’Toole

Lauren O’Toole is one of our “Global Environmental Leadership and Sustainability” course instructor. Lauren has a BS in Aquatic Biology from the University of California, San Diego. She was a Science Teacher at St. Joseph’s Convent School (Contracted through Bright Future International Training and Services; Bangkok, Thailand, where she taught eighth grade students the fundamentals of biology, physics and chemistry. Lauren also was an Assistant Program Manager for Bright Future International Training and Services; Bangkok, Thailand, where she managed 16 employees and supported 5 agency contracts totaling $10,000 in monthly revenue. She was also responsible for term planning, developing curriculum resources, corresponding with teachers and creating school reports. Lauren also taught Eighth grade science while there. She also presented lectures and training to teaching staff on Classroom Management and Learners with Special Needs. She served as a Research Assistant for the Partnership for Interdisciplinary Studies of Costal Oceans in Santa Barbara, CA, as well as served as a Teaching Assistant at Book’s Institute of Photography, Santa Barbara, CA.
